MSP to PHX Please.

Here are a couple pics from a wonderful vacation to Phoenix at the end of February. My mom and I had a blast visiting my MOH, Kayla, on our second annual mother-daughter getaway and we were blessed with 70 and 80 degree weather the whole time. We did lots of traveling; including a 4 hour trip north to see the Grand Canyon, which was still sporting snow this time of year. Being located at 7000 feet, it had a completely different feel from the southern Arizona desert.

Throughout our five precious days we enjoyed a few road trips around Phoenix, some hiking in the desert with Kayla and Solomon, floating in a glider plane over the Estrella mountains, and some solid chick flick intake.

Although the Grand Canyon at sunset was the experience of a lifetime, my favorite part of the vacation was waking up sans alarm clock each day, sipping fresh coffee with my mom, and the sun streaming in the windows.

It was delightful. :)
