~ Oh-Three Bay-Bee ~

We're coming up on the one year anniversary of our inaugural book club meeting, so I thought it'd be a good opportunity to post some pictures and tell everyone a little bit about it. The book club consists of a few high school friends who were interested in reading a book and getting together once a month. <'03 4-eva!> We originally connected those of us who live in the cities area, but found that people were interested in traveling from Rochester and Mankato to be a part of this.

We have only read a handful of books over the past year, but we've had a lot of fun just catching up and staying in touch. We began with a poolside discussion of 'the Friday Night Knitting Club,' had a formal dinner night at Clara's home, a cookie exchange at Kristi's swingin' townhouse :) , a brunch in Uptown to discuss 'Into Thin Air,' and best of all, our 'winter retreat' at Katie's cabin, which was needed to effectively analyze the realism of 'Dear John.' We've had a lot of fun and memories to show for this past year. I hope we can continue this in the years to come!
