We drove up late Friday night and stayed over at the Kinney's 'cabin' near Hayward, WI as a halfway point (thanks again!).
Here is a simplified view of the islands... Madeline island is the largest. (the green one on the south east side.)

We checked out the sights and realized we needed some kind of wheels to get around the island, so we rented bikes.
We had a good time biking, but were exhausted and famished by the end of the 14 mile bike ride.
After a much appreciated bite to eat, we were able to get to our campground and set up for the night before the sunlight was completely gone.
We enjoyed many a hot dog and s'more at this campsite over the next two nights.
On Saturday we made the long journey to a big vintage snowmobile swap meet in St. Germain, Wisconsin. On the journey back we were able to stop at the 'Stormy Kromer' factory in Ironwood, MI and even grab a couple pasties for lunch on the road.
Saturday afternoon turned into a bit more sight seeing, shopping, eating and...eating.
We made it through a rainy evening, knowing that Monday would be beautiful, for our final destination - a hike to the sea caves.
On Monday, we hiked.... and saw the sea caves!
They made for some awesome pictures.
We really couldn't have picked a better place for our mini-vacation!
