Thanksgiving

Come let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with THANKSGIVING and exalt him with music and song. Psalm 95

We had a great thanksgiving celebration this year, complete with food, family and lots of laughs. We spent the holiday in Rochester with my side of the family; my brother and his wife, my parents, and Eric and I. To ward off the afternoon lull of sleepiness and boredom, we decided to try playing a game as a family this year and it turned out to be really fun! We played 'Loaded Questions' where everyone answers a question such as 'what is a current fashion trend that you don't understand?' or 'who is the most washed up celebrity?' and one person must guess who answered with which response. We all got a hearty ab workout from laughing so hard.

Here are a few pictures to commemorate Thanksgiving 2009.

We are beyond thankful for the blessings of God this year; good jobs in this tough economy, healthy and safe family and friends, our own physical health, and everything we could ever need to live a happy life. And for that we give thanks!
